A Knit Decision

Knitting in Oregon, with other stuff, too, such as crochet, cats, dogs, history, fashion, highly opiniated rants, reading, diabetes, church, life in general, etc. I like circular needles, prefer natural yarns, don't spin, choose small projects, and don't have any one favorite yarn store. I love them all.

I must actually be depressed...

I haven't knitted in weeks.

I need to sew up my mitts and send them off.

I need to knit the arms for Emily's baby sweater.

I feel blah.

I'm working with my grandparents as they clean out their house in preparation for a move to a retirement community. They have to be out by November 20th. I don't think they're going to make it 100%. They plan on renting a storage space unit. Not the most ideal situation. Their home is about two and a half hours away from me. I went up two weekends ago, and I'm going up again this weekend.

I must pick up my needles.

Maybe I should sign up for that class on knitting socks on two circular needles. That's a project that I know I want to do, and I love the store, and I like the teacher, too.

(And I've already been back on anti-depressant medications for 3 weeks now. Yippee.)

Knitting is good for my mental health. I know it. And yet...
